I normally don’t pay much attention to the Associated Industries of Massachusetts’s monthly survey of employers. But AIM’s April survey is indeed rather shocking, with local business confidence plunging last month to its lowest level since the onset of the pandemic. The reason: tariffs and federal fiscal policies.
